Joyce Bell Winkler (she/her) is a retired Registered Nurse with more than 40 years of experience in the health care industry, with positions in administration, education, and research. Before retiring from Cooperative Health, an FQHC in Columbia, South Carolina, she held positions as the director of nursing and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) coordinator and managed several research projects. She was a health and research presenter at local, state, national, and international conferences and workshops. In 2016, when Cooperative Health was selected to join the All of Us Research Program, Joyce served as one of the lead managers and later was named the principal investigator. Upon her retirement, she served on Cooperative Health’s All of Us Participant Advisory Board; she also served on the program’s Social Determinants of Health Working Group. Joyce lives on her family’s farm and enjoys her garden, traveling and taking nature photographs.
