Daisy Burgos (she/her) was born in Puerto Rico and was raised for a large portion of her life in New York. She has three children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Daisy is a resilient individual, surviving cancer twice in her life. Today, she has been cancer free for 15 years. In her free time, Daisy loves to read, express herself through writing, and tend to her herb garden.
